Plans or Template this spore lamp shade are provided in Illustrator (.AI), PDF, and SVG file format. Originally designed to be cut on a Glowforge laser cutter using proofgrade 1/8″ plywood thick. The slots are snug, but I used a little super glue on each connection to keep in place.
Please note that this took about four and a half sheets of 12 x 20 proofgrade plywood. I was using the pass-through slot to maximize material, so if you’re using a Glowforge plus or basic, plan on 5 sheets.

This template is should be used as a baseline, and will need to be adjusted for kerf and fit depending on your material. You can alter this design to meet the needs of your material, but cannot resell this design as a digital file. (Yes, Even after you change the material thickness, that is not allowed.)

This was really easy to cut and assemble. I made this for my husband to give to him on Valentine’s Day and he LOVES it. He put it in his office at work and people go nuts over it. Thanks!
