It’s been a while since I created a truly unique polyhedral, so I thought I’d share my latest along with some vids of my design and print process.

Stella4D

Design shape in Stella4D. This is a Morph dual 27.2% in between a Pentagonal Antiprism and a Pentagonal Deltohedron. Then as that new shape as the new base, I morph 27.2% between this new polyhedron and its dual to get my final shape.

Rendered Mockup

To get an idea what the final product will look like, I upload images of the wood types I’m using and set to face types.

Fusion360

Export the new shape STL from Stella4D, and import into Fusion 360 to design internal plastic connectors.

3D Print Connectors

3D Print Connectors: PLA printed on Anycubic Kobra Max with Octopi.
