After getting through most of the Archimedian Solid shapes I wanted to make, I started looking around the web for some additional complex polyhedrals. I stumbled across this page that shows a few non-standard polyhedrals, which they referred to as Symmetrohedra. There were a bunch of shapes that I hadn’t seen before, including this bowtie icosahedron, which was visually pleasing to me. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any information on the shape outside of the picture, so I had to create the connector in Fusion 360 without the benefit of the dihedral angles.
The internal connectors were a bit more tricky than normal because of the addition of the bowtie shapes.
